With 32,872 doses administered, the 22nd Vaccination Week in the Americas (VAS) and the 13th World Immunization Week ended under the motto “Act now to protect your future in Misiones.
Vaccinators from the 6 health zones of the Ministry of Public Health, through various strategies, registered 32,872 doses applied to the provincial and national immunization system. Thus achieving the objective of completing schemes of the national vaccination calendar.
South Zone applied 2,955 doses, Central Paraná Zone 5,076 doses, Central Uruguay Zone 5,646 doses, North Paraná Zone 5,082 doses, Northeast Zone 4,785 doses and Capital Zone 9,328 doses.
PAHO reference visit
On Friday, the representative of the Epidemiology area of PAHO Argentina, María Florencia Pérez, together with the head of the Immunization Department of the Ministry of Public Health, Roberto Lima, visited the municipalities of Candelaria, Oberá and Jardín América. Where activities were carried out both in fixed posts and in field trips.
