The authorities of Valle del Cauca managed to capture six members of the Clan del Golfo and the arrest of a minor who was being instrumentalized by said illegal armed group.
According to the Secretary of Security of the Valley, Ana María Sanclemente, The detainees are accused of being responsible for multiple criminal actions in the municipalities of Bugalagrande, Zarzal and Riofrío.
“An important impact to this structure that affects Bugalagrande, Zarzal and Riofrío, all thanks to the increase in the strength and articulation of the Government of Valle, the National Police and the National Army,” Sanclemente explained.
The six members of the Gulf Clan were left at the disposal of the Attorney General’s Office. so that their judicial situation can be determined.

Capture ‘Chocorramo’
In another operation, the authorities captured alias ‘Chocorramo’, alleged leader of the criminal gang ‘Nueva Generación’accused of perpetrating criminal actions in the north of the Valley.
Colonel Giovanni Cristancho Zambrano, commander of the Valle Police Department, indicated that alias ‘Chocorramo’ He would have started his criminal activities with ‘Los Rastrojos’, and would currently be in charge of training hitmen.
“This subject started with ‘Los Rastrojos’, and was even in the north of Santander generating criminal activity; He returned to the department of Valle, now with the criminal gang ‘Nueva Generación’, “he is in charge of training hitmen”he assured.
