The National Police reported a femicide in the Santa Lucía village, rural area of Puerto Concordia, Meta, apparently at the hands of her romantic partner.
Colonel Alexander Obando, commander of the Guaviare Police Department, indicated that the victim of Venezuelan nationality was identified as Rosmery Aracely Nirena Masa, 36 years old.
According to the officer, her romantic partner, also a Venezuelan, would have attacked her with a blunt weapon until she took her life. “This subject begins to flee the place and the entire corresponding investigation is already being carried out with the Attorney General’s Office. “You have the full identity of the subject,” he said.
According to the information that the authorities have, her partner, Ronald Alexander Jiménez Pérez, arrived in a state of intoxication and beat her with a stick until she died.
The alleged feminicide is wanted by the National Police in the departments of Meta and Guaviare.
