The Governor of Formosa criticized the Court for beginning to analyze the indefinite reelection that allows him to govern for 28 years

Governor K of Formosa, Gildo Insfráncriticized the Court for beginning to analyze several requests for unconstitutionality of the Constitution of his province that allows the indefinite re-election of provincial leaders.

The Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation gave him 60 daysor last week to Governor Insfrán and the state prosecutor of the province, Stella Maris Zabala, to formulate a defense regarding the indefinite re-election of the president.

The highest court thus gave rise to a series of appeals presented against the political situation of the Formosa president, among them one from the Libertad Avanza senator Francisco Paoltroni.

In a speech, Insfrán said over the weekend: “I don’t know how many more days I’ll be because now it would seem that the alternation (in power) The people of Formosa no longer decide, the alternation is decided by three people”, referring to the Court. She stated this when speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the new building of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Laguna Blanca.

The members of the Court are four: Horacio Rosatti, Carlos Rosenkrantz, Juan Carlos Maqueda and Ricardo Lorenzetti. It is not known why he only said “three people.”

For his part, Senator Paoltroni said that “Gildo Insfrán has already been in the Provincial Executive Branch for 40 years” and has become a “feudal lord.”

“Since the year 78, Gildo Insfrán joined the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of the Province of Formosa as a veterinarian. Then he was elected Deputy in 1983, he had been a Deputy for four years, then he was Vice Governor for 8 years and he was going to complete 32 years as Governor,” he told Dato on Dato on Radio Milenium. “That is, 40 years in the provincial Executive Branch, 4 years as a Deputy and 5 years as an employee of the Ministry of Agriculture. A lifetime,” he added.

“We all know what the consequences of the accumulation of power are. This applies to everyone: for the mayors of the suburbs or the unions. This always ends badly. They accumulate money, they accumulate power and to hell with the Republic,” stressed the official senator.

The people of Formosa are hostage to a perverse system of absolute concentration of power. There is no justice here, there is no private property, electricity depends absolutely on him, who today is using it as a tool of punishment and collection. He blames everything on President Javier Milei and it is always the gadgets that he has used to do his thing.

On whether the other appeals presented to the Court are declared out of time because they were presented before Insfrán launched his new candidacy last year. “In itself, it would not completely change the object. Today everything is extemporaneous, but at the time the two presentations generated a media shock and they did not wait for Insfrán to make his candidacy official, which is what had to be done and what we did,” he added.
