What the Children’s Hospital Foundation does

The purpose of organizing this race is to raise funds for the purchase of equipment necessary for the treatment of the various pathologies and needs that are attended to at the Maternal and child Hospital; and together we can achieve development with better possibilities in terms of Health for one of the most vulnerable sectors of our province.
The race organized jointly between the Children’s Hospital Foundation and Urku Trail&Running will have two distances, one participatory 5 kilometers and one competitive 10 kilometer (either of the two distances people with disabilities can participate), while the children’s categories will have a shorter route.

From the organization they indicated that the two distances will travel through different streets of the city, with the starting and finishing point being the northern end of Av. Córdoba. The place and time of accreditation of the runners will be informed in due course.
“People who don’t know the Foundation will get to know it through this event, it will be a great race that we are organizing together with Urku; and the support we receive will be for the children and for the Hospital itself, which is ours and on some occasion the vast majority of the people of Jujuy needed or need their services, that is why we hope for the presence of the whole family that Sunday.” Manzur concluded.
