The Province will invest $1,000 million to promote productive ventures

Governor Martín Llaryora announced the updates to the amounts of loans intended for entrepreneurs granted by the Banco de Córdoba Foundation, through the Córdoba Emprendedora program, bringing the values ​​to a ceiling of 1,300,000 and 1,800,000 pesos.

The provincial investment destined for the initiative totals 1,000 million pesos, with the conviction of continuing to accompany entrepreneurs, key actors in terms of their contribution to the economy, their possibilities for creating jobs and social wealth.

When announcing the new loan amounts, Llaryora stated: “We are in one of the best entrepreneurship ecosystems, the best in Latin America. Entrepreneurs have done a lot to ensure that there are supportive public policies. And this generated multiple options for training, mentoring, visualization and public programs.”

The Cordoba president assured that despite the difficult moment that Argentina is experiencing, entrepreneurs find the means to improve themselves.

In that sense, he expressed: “Crises are sometimes opportunities for those who face challenges, for those entrepreneurs who have strength and desire,” and he defined Córdoba as “a natural cradle of entrepreneurs.”

A drive to grow

The Córdoba Emprendedora program aims to promote and professionalize the entrepreneurial culture of the province.

More than 20,000 entrepreneurs are part of this community that offers comprehensive support through training, mentoring, visibility and financing, in addition to a powerful networking network.

Likewise, the Secretary of Social Development, Paulo Cassinerio, stated: “What we are presenting has to do with a way of governing with the focus on generating more and better employment for the people of Córdoba. This new line of credit seeks to provide tools for entrepreneurs to grow and develop their projects.”

With a dynamic, innovative and enthusiastic profile, the main axis of the initiative is to empower those participants with an entrepreneurial vocation who are interested in acquiring both tools and skills to develop their businesses.

It should be noted that until now, 68% of the 4,489 loans that have been granted were for the interior of the province and the remaining 32% for the capital, with a recovery rate of 99%.

More support

In view of comprehensive support, more than 60 free training and mentoring sessions are also offered, in which more than 12,000 people have participated and which are focused mainly on business management and personal development.

Among the topics addressed include financial education, business models, digital marketing, public speaking, social networks, communication, sales, product photography, innovation, leadership and team management, sustainability and new economies, among others.

Participation is through 100% free scholarships and the selection process occurs through calls made on the website of the Ministry of Social Development and Employment Promotion, which include personal interviews.

The governor was accompanied by the Minister of Social Development, Laura Jure; the Secretary of Communication and Culture of the Municipality of Córdoba, Mariano Almada, entrepreneurs from different sectors and authorities in general.
