Fiscal package: Deputies restored the Income Tax
In what was one of the requests most insisted upon by the governors, and one of the measures most resisted by the deputies Patagonians for representing a region with a higher cost of living, the fourth category of the income tax was restored as part of the Tax Reform presented by the Government.

Income Tax
The current project eliminates the exemption of the fourth category and the following scales are established, contemplating the accumulated monthly net taxable profit. The non-taxable minimum for workers without spouse or children has a net salary of $1,494 million. If you are the head of a family of four people, the lowest net salary reached by the tax will be $1,981 million. The current system imposes a floor – without considering family – of $2.34 million.
It is also contemplated that “the amounts provided for in this article will be adjusted annually, starting with fiscal year 2025, inclusive, by the coefficient that arises from the annual variation of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) that supplies the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INDEC)corresponding to the month of October of the year prior to the adjustment with respect to the same month of the previous year”.
