A gas pipeline that stopped gas connections in the mountain area

In mid-April, the amparistas who brought the claim for the completion of complementary works on the mountain gas pipeline to allow Bariloche and users throughout the region to once again have feasibility for gas connections, announced that they received confirmation that Civil works were resumed in the province of Chubut.

A few days later, almost a year and a half after the collective judicial action began, the acting federal judge of Bariloche, Gustavo Villanueva, decided to summon the parties to the amparo for the reactivation of gas connections in the mountain range. He summoned them to a conciliation hearing for May 31 in person.

The claim had arisen because since July 2022 the company Camuzzi, which provides gas service in the Chubut, Río Negro and Neuquén mountain range, decided close gas connections throughout the region due to the lack of complementary works for the mountain gas pipeline that affected the provision of supply.
