Agustina Fernández was 19 years old when she arrived at Cipolletti with the dream of many: to study medical sciences and become a health professional. But her stay in the city had a tragic outcome, the young woman was brutally attacked in her neighbor Pablo Parra’s apartment and died three days later. The trial for his murder begins on Monday, with Parra as the only defendant. This is how her colleagues, friends and family remembered her.
The young woman was originally from Santa Rosa, La Pampa and had moved to Cipolletti with the aim of training and becoming a doctor. Agustina had settled in March 2022 in a studio apartment in the town. “She came to fulfill a dream,” her parents said.

Femicide of Agustina Fernández in Cipolletti: What is the prosecution’s theory
