The immortal chords of Charly García resonated in the city of San Salvador de Jujuy, this time thanks to the unparalleled show of Música para Volar, at the emblematic Miter Theater. On Thursday, Jujeños had the privilege of immersing themselves in the musical universe of the Argentine rock icon, performed with mastery and passion by this talented group from Rosario. The show is titled “Charly Unplugged.”
With the album “Hello!” As a banner, Charly García reinvented himself in 1995 with a series of stripped-down and moving versions of his most memorable classics. Now, Música para Volar brought back the essence of this album in an unplugged show that captured the very essence of García’s musical genius.

“Hello!” is the name of the album that Charly García recorded as part of the Unplugged series organized by the American channel MTV in 1995. With a career that had already changed the history of Argentine and Latin American rock several times, in At that time, García showed his full force with an exquisite series of versions of some of his most emblematic songs, playing the piano masterfully and combining in the arrangements the sound of a violin and a cello, in addition to María’s voice and guitar. Gabriela Epumer, Fernando Samalea’s drums, and the interventions of “Zorrito” Von Quintiero on keyboards, organ and bass.

Música para Volar was formed in 2012, and for two years it has been touring the country and abroad with its shows, which include “Gustavo Cerati Sinfónico”, “Soda Sinfónico”, “Música para Volar + Kubrick” and “Paseo electric”.
A constant in their career is the deep respect for the musical work they address, as well as the search to generate integral experiences in the viewer, designing every detail of the performance in order to create unique moments of reunion with the compositions.
Música para Volar is made up of José Matteucci (vocals and drums), Alexis Thompson (guitar and samplers), Julieta Sciasci (bass and backing vocals) and Bruno Moreno (piano).
