A tense moment was recorded after 6 p.m. this Friday in the Chamber of Deputies, within the framework of a special session to vote on the draft Rules for the Use of Force (RUF), after Opposition deputies and pro-government deputies met in harsh terms after the figure of the so-called “killer dog” resurfaced in the discussion.

Thus, during the Chamber session this Friday, Opposition deputies criticized the government officials who supported this figure at the time, and called on them to make a mea culpa.mainly in the context of the murder of three police officers that occurred last week in Cañete, Biobío Region.
One of them was the UDI deputy Sergio Bobadilla, who stated that “I am going to vote in favor of this project, and I am going to do it with conviction as always, because I have always defended the life and work of our police and the Armed Forces. I invite those from the front and those who are in the government today, I summon them, to apologize for having worn the miserable shirt of the ‘killer dog’.”.
“Apologize, you were responsible for piercing the credibility of the Carabineros and our Armed Forces. with insults, with lies, with their unhealthy hatred,” Bobadilla added. “And I invite and call on the Communist Party and the Broad Front to stop being part of the protection network that murders our police officers,” she accused.
After some interventions by parliamentarians, it was the turn of the deputy Consuelo Veloso (ex-RD), who attacked the right: “Unfortunately, and I take responsibility for my words, if I could point out a common enemy, in addition to common crime, it is collar and tie crime. And it is there at the front, the right that takes advantage of the Carabineros to win votes and with all misery takes advantage of death again and again, because they want to fulfill their fetishes of violence.”
