This is a provincial route linked to hydrocarbon activity and the Vaca Muerta Field, which is why high levels of heavy traffic can produce deformations in the asphalt strip, affecting in many cases its state of passability.
In this context, with resources belonging to the Allen Asphalt Plant, during the last few months Vialidad Rionegrina carried out improvement works at different points of said route, mainly in the vicinity of Villa Manzano and San Isidro.
The tasks carried out included resurfacing with reconstruction of the structural package, restitution of the culvert, provision of material for shoulder underpinning and deep patching, among others.
In this regard, the President of Vialidad Rionegrina, Raúl Grün, expressed that “these are very rewarding improvement works because they are carried out with our own personnel and equipment. We cannot ignore that we find ourselves in a delicate macroeconomic context, with important adjustments and cuts in co-participation funds and that is why carrying out these improvement conservation works allows us to consolidate the idea of the present provincial State.”
