Paraná, May 3 (APFDigital)

– According to the latest report from the Entre Ríos Cereal Exchange Information System (SIBER), the area planted with sorghum in the province experienced a notable growth of eight percent compared to the previous year, reaching more than 105 thousand hectares.

The report details that of the total cultivated area, 87% corresponds to grain sorghum, while the remaining 13% was allocated to forage sorghum. Likewise, it was highlighted that the departments of Nogoyá, Paraná and Villaguay concentrated 35% of the total planted area, reaching 37,000 hectares.

This increase in the area planted with sorghum reflects the increasing importance of this crop in the province of Entre Ríos, consolidating it as a key option for local producers. (APFDigital)
