Starting this Monday, May 6, Tamale producers in Ibagué may apply to participate in the 2024 edition of the Tolimense Tamale Day.
This year it will take place on June 24 in Murillo Toro Park and will include a tour to the Panopticon Museum. During the journey, residents of the Musical Capital and tourists will be able to see several stations with historical and cultural information related to the Colombian Folk Festival.

“In addition to that, we are going to have many surprises because we will have a circuit full of history and tradition between Murillo Toro park and the Panopticon Museum”he assured Naydú Romero, Secretary of Economic Development.
From May 6 to 16, entrepreneurs or micro-entrepreneurs in the gastronomic sector will be able to register and on the 28th of the same month, the Secretariat will announce those who will participate in the traditional celebration.

“We invite all tamale producers to be very prepared”added Romero, about the selection process that will take place this month.
