This Thursday, May 9, starting at 8:00 in the morning, a public hearing will be held in the Unitropic Auditorium, which will focus on the environmental, labor, complementary works, goods and services commitments of the Road Concessionaire. of the Oriente Covioriente with the Casanareña community in the area of ​​influence.

The call for this public hearing is the initiative of Casanareño congressman Vladimir Olaya and the approval of the President of the Sixth Commission of the House of Representatives, Juan David López, in response to the concerns of Casanareños regarding the Aguazul – Yopal dual carriageway project. and the legal and technical justification of the tolls in the region, between Yopal and Aguazul, one between Tauramena and Monterrey, another between Monterrey and Villanueva in Casanare and San Luis de Gaceno in Boyacá.

The presence of senior officials such as the Minister of Transportation, the Director of Invías, the Superintendent of Ports and Transportation, as well as governors, mayors of the area, community leaders and the community in general is expected.

All of them will meet to address the various aspects related to the construction of the road, which daily moves thousands of vehicles transporting oil and food products to different parts of the country.

For representative Vladimir Olaya Mancipe, this hearing is crucial, since, although the construction of the road is in its final stage, there are several complementary works that the community considers essential and that are not contemplated in the current layout. Therefore, the hearing will provide a space to discuss and address these concerns this Thursday.
