On April 10, Congress approved a law that will stabilize electricity rates, but that also contemplates a series of aid around the issue.

In this scenario, the law regulates the mechanism for paying the amount owed, but it will also allow the collection to be adjusted in a way that clients are protected.

The communes that will receive an extra discount on their electricity bills
During the legislative process, Congress approved the creation of a Territorial Generation Recognition Mechanism (RGT), which will further reduce rates for some areas.
