The Highway Police warns about the presence of fog on routes in Córdoba

The Highway Police warned about the presence of fog banks, during the morning of this Tuesday, on different routes and roads in the Province of Córdoba.

According to the 8 o’clock report, the phenomenon covers routes E-98, Camino del Cuadrado, the Córdoba-Carlos Paz and Córdoba-Rosario highways.

In addition, there is a presence of fog on highways 19, Córdoba-San Francisco, Circunvalación avenue, at kilometer 25 (inner ring), height of the Armada Argentina bridge; on national routes 7, 8, 36 and 158. And on provincial routes 6, 11 and 13.

The Police also reported that it is raining on National Route 35.

Recommendations in the presence of fog

• Given the loss of visibility, I reduced my speed without braking on the road or shoulder; Remember that on wet roads the vehicle’s grip level decreases.
• Increase the safety distance between vehicles and avoid overtaking.
• If you stop, move as far away from the shoulder as possible (in case of rain you run the risk of bogging the vehicle) and look for a safe place until visibility improves. Beacons should only be used if you are completely stopped.
• Respect the instructions provided by Highway Police personnel or any other authority that works for safety and prevention.
