The deadly events occurred in the rural area of Bella Vista.
Communities from the municipality of Suárez, Cauca, reported the murder of a housewife in the Bella Vista sector, located about an hour from the urban area.
According to residents of this town, the woman was heading towards the store after leaving her house with the purpose of buying some food when she was intercepted by armed individuals.
“The subjects who blocked her path later attacked the citizen, causing fatal wounds to her chest and abdomen, although some local residents tried to provide first aid, unfortunately she did not resist and died at the scene,” they added. the residents of this rural sector.
Later, and thanks to the help of the community, the victim’s body was removed from the area and later transferred to the morgue of the hospital in the neighboring municipality of Santander de Quilichao.
“The victim responded to the name of Diomira Cifuentes Alegría, 55 years old, so far this is the only information provided by the people who responded to this situation,” the authorities indicated for their part.
