Since May 1, the “José Hernández” Institutes of Colonia Barón and “General José de San Martín” Institutes of Alta Italia have been incorporated as state-run secondary schools, maintaining the same patronymic. Likewise, as of March 1, 2024, it was transferred to the state orbit, with the same conditions, to the “Arturo Juan Ferrero” Polytechnic Center of General Pico.

The Ministry of Education, through the Directorate of Private Management Education, reported that this decision is framed in Law No. 3566, promulgated on November 23, 2023, through which in its Article 1 it was sanctioned that those educational institutions Secondary Level belonging to the privately managed Provincial Educational System, which constitute the only offer in the town, and that before December 30, 2023 had fulfilled the requirements established by the Ministry of Education, would be incorporated into the state management of the System Provincial Educational in the 2024 cycle.

The teaching staff who provide services in the aforementioned institutions and who have joined the state management of the Provincial Educational System, began to be reviewed as personnel of the Provincial Public Administration and have been transferred with the status of review and seniority that they had at the time. in which the incorporation became effective.

In this sense, it is estimated that by July 1 of this School Year, the incorporations of the other privately managed secondary educational institutions will become effective, the only offers in the towns of Lonquimay, Miguel Riglos, Doblas, General San Martin and Bernasconi.
