Concern continues to generate the complex situation in the Gaza Stripafter the Israel Defense Forces have occupied Palestinian territory of the Rafah passone of the main entry points for humanitarian aid into the enclave.
In conversation with the first edition of Radioanalysishe executive director of the Palestinian Community in Chile, Diego Khamisstated that now “it is quite evident that the Netanyahu Government began the raid on Rafah, by taking the border crossing with Egypt, which is the way in which the aid is entering.”
Khamis recalled that first “They displaced the population and the forced displacement of the population is a war crimefrom the north of Gaza City to the south of the Gaza Valley.”
“Then the people from that area were attacked and displaced again towards Rafah. We had almost two million people, one million 800 thousand people, refugees in Rafah, so any military operation carried out in a place that is this densely populated, the results are obvious. I think that here “We are at risk of having one of the most brutal massacres of the 21st century so far.”he warned.
Along the same lines, the director of the Palestinian Community in Chile He assured that what is being experienced in Gaza is a genocide and revenge on the part of the State of Israel “against all the Palestinian people” for the Hamas attack carried out on October 7.
“Here we are facing horrendous crimes. Yesterday the Egyptian proposal and that of several mediators was accepted by Hamas and supposedly they said that if the hostages were handed over everything would be over, but what they did was speed up the operation in Rafah. “This is a scandal, it has no other name,” he accused.

“I believe that what Chile has done in relation to the fact that it was the first country in the world to take a diplomatic measure against the State of Israel, when the ambassador in Tel Aviv was called for consultation on October 31 of last year, “Having sent the information to the ICC together with Mexico and the prohibition of Israeli companies from participating in FIDAE, are in the right direction and I believe any measure that follows that line is relevant,” he concluded.
