The Departmental Assembly began the study and socialization of the 2024 – 2027 Development Plan project “Córdoba has everything to be at another level”, which constitutes the roadmap for the social and economic progress of the department for the next four years with a vision for 2052.
The person in charge of opening this stage was the Secretary of Planning, Camilo Mejía Padilla, who confirmed before the deputies of the department that this Development Plan is concise and emphatic wanting to work with a good investment, reaching every corner of the municipalities and the people of Córdoba.
“We want this Development Plan to be ambitious and guarantee transparency; because it deals with a long-term vision, competitiveness and sustainability among other issues,” said Mejía Padilla.
This initiative includes a multi-year investment plan that has three central axes:
1. Energy infrastructure
2. Agroindustrial development
3. Tourism
Likewise, among the components of the Plan are strategic projects that range from the promotion of bilingualism and access to education at all levels, to the construction of road axes, strengthening citizen security and hospital infrastructure and the energy transition. towards renewable sources.
The Development Plan commission within the Córdoba Assembly will continue the study and socialization during the month of May in coordination with the Office Secretariats of the Government through presentations and exhibitions of axes, pillars, components and programs.
