Yesterday, the Governor of Entre Ríos, Rogelio Frigerio, led a work meeting with representatives of the Police and the Penitentiary Service of the province. During this meeting, various topics related to the objectives, resources, strategies and dynamics underway and planned for the future were addressed, with the clear purpose of improving security and justice services in the region.
The event was attended by the Minister of Security and Justice, Néstor Roncaglia, as well as personnel from the Police and the provincial Penitentiary Service. The Chief of Police, Claudio González, highlighted the relevance of this meeting by expressing that “the essence of it was to explain to the governor how we are and where we are going, what are the objectives that we set for ourselves in the short, medium and long range, in addition of strategies and resources”.
One of the points addressed during the meeting was the mention of the tools that are being implemented in programs such as “Safe Neighborhoods”, “Safe Field” and “Safe Tourism”, with the aim of strengthening the police and security presence in key areas. of the province, thus ensuring greater proximity to citizens and an effective response to their needs.
In addition, the importance of coordination between the different security forces, both provincial and federal, as well as with other relevant organizations, was emphasized. This inter-institutional coordination is presented as a fundamental element to guarantee comprehensive and efficient responses to challenges and problems in matters of security and justice.
Regarding the results obtained so far in the fight against different crimes, the Chief of Police pointed out that “based on the evaluation and statistics, the effectiveness of police personnel has increased.” This data reflects the commitment and constant work of the security forces in the region. Likewise, he emphasized the continuity of these actions and the implementation of new strategies and dynamics to continue strengthening security in Entre Ríos.
