This is Julio Eloy Benavides Medina, 63 years old, whose body was taken to the morgue of the Institute of Legal Medicine in the capital of the department of Magdalena.
The death of this person occurred due to cardiorespiratory arrest that occurred due to serious injuries from which he could not recover.
The known information indicates that on March 23, Benavides Medina was traveling calmly on the Troncal del Caribe highway, on the way to La Guajira, but that when he was a few kilometers from his destination, a tree branch inexplicably fell on him, hitting him heavily. This caused him to lose control of the vehicle and crash headlong into the pavement where he remained unconscious.
