A strong crash was recorded this morning on the Buen Ayre Roadin the direction towards the Pan-American highway, when a vehicle containing three police officers was hit by a Ford EcoSport that was traveling the wrong way at high speed. The driver had 1.44 grams of alcohol in her blood.
The road accident occurred near kilometer 14, near Hurlinghamwhen Carolina Villa, 31, entered the wrong direction of traffic on the highway that connects the northern area with the western area of the Buenos Aires suburbs and collided head-on with a van occupied by police personnel.
Images captured by different security cameras showed Villa enter the highway at the Julio Argentino Roca access and drive in the opposite direction for a long distance before colliding head-on with a White Toyota Hilux belonging to the Illicit Drug Trafficking Division of La Matanza, an unidentified mobile phone from the Buenos Aires Police.

One of the videos also shows unusual behavior on the part of Villa who seems to be trying to stop his black Ford Ecosportas if he wanted to correct his trajectory towards the center of the highway, where the truck was traveling, but finally the Impacts at high speed on the left side of his forehead. Both vehicles suffered significant damage to the front.
Deputy Inspector Cristian Dique, who was driving the police vehicle, maneuvered to avoid the collision. Although, thanks to his actions, the consequences of the impact decreased, all those involved had to be transferred to Bocalandro Hospital in Loma Hermosa to receive medical attention. Traveling with him were Second Lieutenant Matías Barraza and Sergeant Yésica Figueroa.
Prosecutor Mario Ferrario, of the Fiscal Unit for Investigation No. 3 of Morón, ordered the arrest of the driverwho had a positive result of 1.44 grams of alcohol in the blood in the test they ordered minutes after the accident. With this evidence, charges were filed for “wrongful injuries”, a qualification that allows for release.
