Decree to increase rates in Jujuy
“As of May 1, a decree issued by the provincial government came into effect establishing that The quarterly updates of energy rates will be carried out in accordance with the salary grid of public employees of Jujuyinstead of being based on inflation indices as was done previously,” he indicated Mario PizarroSecretary of Energy.
“This measure represents a significant change in the way rate increases are managed, prioritizing the monitoring of parity rates and guaranteeing a more equitable approach in updating energy costs for citizens,” he added.
Furthermore, he highlighted that “It is important to highlight that these measures are framed in a national context of tariff adjustments and withdrawal of subsidies for the purchase of energy, which has generated concern in several sectors”.
