The Zonda wind arrived in San Juan on this Tuesday, May 7. The inclement weather was such that classes had to be suspended in departments far from the province, such as Iglesia, Jáchal and Calingasta. In addition, from National Highways, they reported the status of the San Juan routes.
In the Iglesia department the routes are passable, although with caution, and with strong gusts of wind, coming from the northern sector. On the other hand, in Calingasta there is a strong south wind with passable routes, but with caution.
In Jáchal there is a strong Zonda wind and the route is passable with caution. On Provincial Route 491, on the way to Huaco, they reported that caution must be taken in the tunnel area. In addition, on National Route 150 Jáchal – Rodeo, precautions must also be taken in the tunnel area.
With this last report issued, it was then known that all provincial routes are passable, as long as it is carried out with all possible precautions, because there are still gusts of wind.
