Citizens who live by Avenida Cero de Cúcuta and its surroundings have declared themselves overwhelmed by the constant presence of homeless residents and drug users, who remain day and night on this emblematic road.

Franklin Tolosa Yáñez, executive director of Corpocerohighlighted that the problem is afflicting them to a great extent, but was emphatic in highlighting that a large part of the responsibility for the presence of this population in street conditions lies with the inhabitants of the area themselves, for poor waste management.
