Intimate: Valeria Lynch and Mariano Martínez in Santa Fe

About the Show, Lynch expressed: “We have prepared a part that is very loud, very rock’n roll and another of ballads, more acoustic. It is a show full of nuances“. In that sense, the singer indicated that “many would say that we are like water and oil, but the reality is that we empower ourselves, we are like dynamite“.

“It is something that happened in such a special way that for us it is nice, it is beautiful to go out and do it. “In the pandemic, the first thing we did when the quarantine started was grab the guitar, the computer, a couple of microphones, and we started recording, singing,” express Mariano Martinez in Sol Play.

Biographical data
Singer, songwriter, actress and businesswoman, Valeria Lynch debuted on TV at the age of 17 in La Botica del Ángel and began singing advertising jingles and underground rock in English with the group Expression in the 70s. Her first important role was in the musical comedy Hair, directed by Alejandro Romay.
In 1976 he published his first album and in the 80s he reached all of Latin America with the song “Mentira”, from his album Quiéreme, which earned him his first Grammy Award nomination.
Later, songs like “My friend”, “Love me in slow motion”, “I can’t wait to never see you again”, “You give me more every day”, “Lord lover”, “Like a wolf” or “The strange lady ”, for the remembered soap opera of the same name starring Luisa Kuliok and Jorge Martínez, they were solidifying their journey.
In the mid-’90s she returned to the musical with the central character of “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” Aurora, and in 2003 she returned to the theater with “Vagina Monologues.”
He continues to develop his artistic activity by presenting albums in different records, tours, participation in television series, with the direction of his musical school, among others.
Guitarist, composer, singer and music producer, Martínez has been a member of the punk rock band Attaque 77 since its founding. He is currently still a member with Leonardo De Cecco on drums and Luciano Scaglione on bass.
Lynch and Martínez have been in a relationship since 2019, after having met during the recording process of Valeria’s album “The strange lady of rock”, of which Martínez was producer and which included, among others, the reversal of “Arrancacorazones” by Ataque 77.
