Where the Cuesta del Portezuelo Viewpoint is located
It is located in the apartment Old Valleyin the southeast of the province and connects National Route No. 38 with Provincial Route 2, crossing the Ancasti mountain range, 18 km from San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca.
The viewpoint is located at 1070 meters above sea level, from there you can see panoramic views of the central Valley and its thousand different shades of green, quality that inspired the well-known zamba “Paisaje de Catamarca”, performed by Los Chalchaleros.
