The Internal Revenue Service reported today that, once the respective review stage has concluded,
authorized the refund of Income Tax for 12,960 taxpayers in the Tarapacá Region,
which correspond to 96.4% of the statements received between April 9 and 19. Of the total
refund amount requested, 85.9% was authorized, which is equivalent to $7,480,245,651.
At the national level, the SII authorized the refund of Income Tax for 706,524 taxpayers,
which correspond to 96.4% of the declarations received in the second period to declare
Rent. Of the total refund amount requested, 87.8% was authorized, which is equivalent to $537,218
millions.
The final number of returns that will be deposited in the bank accounts of the
taxpayers, as well as the respective amounts, will be informed by the General Treasury of the
Republic (TGR), once that body makes compensation for tax debts and
alimony pensions, among other withholdings.
The payment of this refund will be made on Tuesday, May 14 for taxpayers who chose to
receive it via electronic transfer. In the case of taxpayers who also requested
return of surpluses for the Solidarity Loan, the deposit will be made on May 15, if
corresponds.
According to the Operation Income 2024 calendar, the next refund process for
those who submitted their Income Tax Return between April 20 and 26 and opted for transfer
electronic, will be held on May 20.
We remember that the period to submit the 2024 Income Tax return ends on May 10 for
declarations with return or without payment, and ended on April 30 for declarations with payment
