An alleged thief who stole a phone from inside a home was captured by neighbors and handed over to the police on Monday night in the El Tívoli neighborhood, in Santiago de Cuba.

A video released by journalist Yosmany Mayeta shows the moment when the subject from the ground denied being a thief and said that the phone had been sold to him for 200 pesos.

The individual would have been captured on Santa Rita Street, between Barracones and Santiago Alley, in the heart of the city.
