The ban on rags begins in the city along with the new Seom rates and zones

This Monday the increase in the price of the Municipal Ordered Parking System (Seom) becomes effective, in addition to its expansion to new areas. Now the metered parking will be delimited by Cándido Pujato and Castellanos streets (north), Marcial Candioti (east), Entre Ríos (south) and Francia (west).

Likewise, as of this Monday the ban on car-sweepers in the city also begins to take effect. Mayor Juan Pablo Poletti stressed on numerous occasions that there would not be a “double taxation” on the citizen, alluding to the collection required by the “rags” in areas where it is already mandatory to pay the Seom.

In that same sense, the municipal president announced that there will be patrolling by the Institutional Security Guard (GSI) in conjunction with the police to prevent car-sitting activity in the metered parking areas.
