Coyhaique.- After a timely complaint, Carabineros de Coyhaique managed to arrest two individuals for attempted robbery after being caught trying to steal species from inside a building with no residents.
The sudden occurrence of noises during the night inside a building that has been unoccupied for five months, alerted third parties who reported the incident to the Carabineros of this city.
After the rapid arrival of the personnel, they immediately noticed that the padlock on the perimeter fence showed signs of force, while the access door showed signs of damage.
Given the above, Carabineros entered the home and found two subjects inside, 23 and 26 years old respectively, being arrested for the crime of attempted robbery, also managing to seize a screwdriver that would have been used to enter the home, reporting of the fact to the Prosecutor’s Office. Both subjects were informed of their rights and transferred to the hospital emergency service to verify their injuries, while they were later referred to the detention control hearing due to this fact.
