The provincial government, in collaboration with the Banco San Juan Foundationhas launched a innovative program called “Transform Secondary School” , with the aim of driving change and innovation in secondary schools. The presentation of this program took place this Monday at the Eloy Camus Auditorium, with the notable presence of the minister of Education, Silvia Sources, the secretary of Education, Mariela Lueje, the Undersecretary of Educational Planning, Liliana Nollén, the Executive Secretary of the Banco San Juan Foundation, Laura Adamoli, and the coordinator General of the Cluster of Foundations Petersen, María Cecilia Hancevic.

The main vision of the program, which will be implemented throughout 2024, is to extend its approach to more educational institutions in the future. Its main objective lies in strengthening the strategic management of school leaders and creating a more conducive environment within schools for the academic and personal development of students. Additionally, it focuses on improving academic performance in key areas such as Language and Math, as well as promoting the adoption of innovations pedagogical and technological in it classroom.

A fundamental aspect of the program is the creation and strengthening of a Professional Community of Learning between schools and educators. This community aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experiences, thus promoting an environment of collaboration and continuous growth in the educational field.

The Minister Silvia Fuentes said: “One of the fundamental premises of this government is the education. We are working hard to cover all the parts of the system, not just the part pedagogical, educational quality, but also with what has to do with infrastructure and others“.
