The president of the Court of Justice, Marcelo Lima, together with the court judges Adriana García Nieto and Guillermo Horacio De Sanctis received the members of the board of directors of the San Juan Judicial Union this Thursday, June 6, 2024 in the situation room and agreements. Sebastián López confirmed to HUARPE DIARY that on Tuesday, June 11, there will be the assembly in which the union authorities will share with their members the details of the discussion with the highest authority of the Judiciary. The meeting will be at 10 a.m. at the Miter Annex, as confirmed by union sources.

At this Thursday’s meeting, the Secretary General, Sebastián López, represented the Judicial Union; the union secretary, Daniel Torre; the administrative secretary, Federico Andrés Sotelo; the Secretary of Gender and Equal Opportunities, María Agustina Orquín; the Secretary of Communication and Press, Estefanía Vanesa Abdala; the Secretary of Hygiene, Work Safety and Environment, Pamela Liliana Cerceda, the Secretary of Social Action and Services, Camila Ayelén Ramírez; the Secretary of the Interior, Sports, Training and Social Security, Lucas Angel Machuca and the treasurer, María Florencia Tejada. For the Judiciary, the administrative undersecretary of the Court, Mauricio Cerezo, and the director of Human Resources, Maximiliano Martín, also participated in the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, Sebastián López expressed: “We have concluded the meeting called by the Court of Justice, within the framework of the salary conflict and the state of alert and mobilization. The meeting had the corresponding discussion, stages and tense moments as it should be and welcome to the discussion. So now we are going to communicate to our members, and to the judicial community, the result of the same and we are going to define in an assembly so that people can choose how the conflict continues, if the intermediate room that was arranged by this medium.”

Finally, the day and time of the assembly is already known, Tuesday, June 11, at 10 a.m., in the Miter Annex. The conflict between the Court and the Judicial Union originated when the authority of the Judicial Branch determined a bonus for the administrators of the judicial offices. The union considered that the 21 to 25% bonus was for a select group and requested that it be additional for all judicial employees.
