In a forceful operation against crimes, especially homicide, the National Police captured in the last few hours a person identified as Raúl González Ipuana, who appeared on the most wanted poster in La Guajira.
This operation was carried out through searches and raids in the rural area of Uribia in Alta Guajira, where González Ipuana was captured with a valid court order for the crime of aggravated homicide.
According to the authorities’ report, a rifle, a pistol, a revolver, two magazines and 23 cartridges of different calibers were seized from González Ipuana.
Alias “Raúl” was included in the most wanted cartel in La Guajira for the homicide that occurred on January 28, 2023, in which Rogelio Ipuana was murdered with a firearm at kilometer 108 of the road that leads from Uribia to Puerto Bolívar.
The authorities indicated that, in addition to his involvement in this homicide, González Ipuana records judicial notes for the crimes of homicide, illegal possession of firearms and theft.
The captured person and seized items were left at the disposal of the competent judicial authority.
