The REmeetings of Creative Industries continue in the Departments: Government of Mendoza Press

The Undersecretariat of Culture of Mendoza continues the REmeetings of Creative Industries in the Departments of the Province. The next meeting will be in Rivadavia.

On Wednesday the 5th, at 3 p.m., at the Encio Bianchi, Lavalle and Aristóbulo del Valle Municipal Theater in that municipality, this meeting will take place. The director of Creative Industries, Sebastián Ladrón de Guevara, and the trainer and industrial designer Jimena Caballero, author of the book “How to undertake in the Cultural and Creative Industries,” will participate in the opportunity.

The training is free and if those interested have an idea, project or creative cultural enterprise and want to enhance their creativity, they are invited to register.

The event seeks to meet people interested in the Creative Industries and learn about new ideas. That is why it is aimed at those who start or want to start in the cultural sector and creative industries.

About Jimena Caballero

The industrial designer from Mendoza was trained at the Faculty of Arts and Design of the UNCuyo and graduated in virtual environments for higher education from the UCH. She is a writer and author of “How to undertake in the cultural and creative industries”, a digital work manual aimed at women entrepreneurs, creators, designers and artisans, declared of interest by the Honorable Chamber of Deputies of the Province of Mendoza.

She has been a university professor for more than 10 years, in different curricular spaces belonging to the Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic and Digital Design, FID, UCH and the Higher Technician in Graphic Design of the Nicolás Avellaneda Higher Institute. She is the founder and director of tuVITAMINA®, a training space for women entrepreneurs in the creative industries.

She was executive director of Águila Ediciones, a publishing house with a gender perspective for independent authors; She co-founded and directed Estudio Yalo, a small design company that reached eleven years of experience and specialized in innovative design and product development for events and promotions, as well as recreational objects, technical developments and commercial design.
