Entrepreneurs attend FOSIS Maule workshops and training – Diario La Mañana

A total of 40 users of the Families Program from the commune of Pelarco were part of the Local Initiative called “Creating My Business”, which promoted their ventures, networks and sales, through the generation of their own business plan, or dependent, instructing them regarding their entry into the world of work, teaching and activating networks with other public development organizations for such purposes.

This project was focused on carrying out group workshops and training aimed exclusively at entrepreneurs, developed in a thermal center in the town of Panimávida, in the commune of Colbún, where they subsequently had pleasant moments of relaxation and recreation.

The work day was divided into 2 sections: The initial one with a theme related to the work area, both independent and dependent, with the purpose of improving their job opportunities and income generation; and the subsequent one addressed a feedback workshop with exchange of experiences, as well as exhibition of their own products.

As explained by the Regional Director of FOSIS, Patricio Uribe, this Local Initiative “was nominated and awarded by the Municipality of Pelarco after being sponsored by the Government through the Ministry of Social Development and Family, in conjunction with FOSIS, with the objective of provide tools to strengthen the skills and competencies of these women, and empower them as entrepreneurs to promote their greater development and economic autonomy, directly in favor of them and their families.”
