More than 200 representatives of mayors and ministries of Education participated in the first meeting of educational quality leaders, held in Santa Marta, whose purpose was to build a roadmap to improve education in Colombia.

The objective of this meeting focused on highlighting experiences in comprehensive training with quality and evaluation leaders, seeking for students to be the protagonists, in addition to sharing the knowledge of the territories and knowing what the guidelines are to strengthen the quality of education. in the country’s educational institutions.

Representing the Secretariat of Education of Casanare, the technical director of Educational Quality, Diego Alexander Calderón, and the leader of Evaluation, César Augusto López, were present, who worked around educational quality, seeking an opportunity to learn about the Ministry’s guidelines. in front of the ‘Crece’ program, which will have to do with the centers of interest in the country and in front of the new guidelines in relation to quality evaluation.

The Leaders Congress brought together a select community of high-standard business leaders in an environment of collaboration and innovation, with the main objective of the event being the territorial connection from comprehensive training, through the exchange of experiences between the different territorial entities, putting the student as the main protagonist.

The national education leaders took a tour of the experiences of the centers of interest for the Comprehensive School Training and developed some of the activities with samples related to art and culture, physical well-being, sports, robotics, pedagogy, research and curriculum .
