training in the technical use of 3D printers – Ministry of Education

Within the framework of the Program to Improve Educational Access and Quality (PROMACE), the Ministry of Education of Jujuy, through the company EXO SA, carried out training aimed at School Technical References (RTE) linked to the Institutes of Higher Education (IES). This training focused on the installation, use and maintenance of the Kodak Portrait 3D printers, recently delivered to the IES.

During the first virtual session, RTEs received a detailed introduction to Kodak Portrait 3D printers and 3D printing technology in general. The advantages and benefits of this equipment were emphasized, and a space was opened for referents to present their needs and objectives. EXO specialists provided personalized guidance to maximize the use of this technology.

The trained RTEs will be responsible for replicating this knowledge to the technical references of their respective institutions, ensuring optimal use of these innovative tools.

The Coordination for the Improvement of Educational Quality, dependent on the Secretariat of Strategic Planning, highlighted the importance of these trainings, highlighting that the use of 3D printers not only improves the teaching and learning processes, but also encourages development. of specific competencies and skills of each technical degree in the IES.

It is important to note that these printers were financed by the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) with funds from the income of the Cauchari Solar Energy Plant. This equipment is intended to enrich the training process in HEIs and promote innovation in higher education.
