The Energy Minister of Tarapacá, Séfora Sidgman, came to Alto Hospicio to promote the “A Cantar con Energía” contest, aimed at the pedagogical teams of daycare centers and kindergartens to encourage the creation of a song that promotes the sustainable use of energy. energy from an early age.

The regional authority visited the Purum Naira and Quri Mayiri Kindergartens, accompanied by deputy Matías Ramírez (PC) and the regional director of Junji Tarapacá, Mario Jeldres, to invite educational institutions to participate by creating an original musical composition and be part of a song by the “Energy Superheroes”, characters who motivate boys and girls to use renewable energy, mitigate and adapt to the effects of climate change.

”At a younger age is where boys and girls learn more about the importance of energy efficiency and transmit this information to their parents and family, which is why the role that Seremi de Energía plays and the connection it has generated with Junji is important. to promote the sustainable use of energy in kindergartens,” explained Ramírez.

Regarding the competition from the Ministry of Energy, the seremi extended the call to all daycare centers and kindergartens in the region.

“This musical contest seeks to promote energy sustainability and contribute to the educational and informational processes of boys and girls so that they use energy responsibly. Educators, educators and nursery education technicians who are working in a kindergarten or nursery school can participate. The winning proposal will be recorded by the Energetic Superheroes and presented on the digital channels of the organizing institutions, highlighted in the song credits to the winners,” she added.

During the visit to the Alto Hospicio kindergartens, the regional authorities toured the facilities and addressed the issue of security.
