In the last few hours, the company Autopistas de Buenos Aires SA (AUBASA) installed a series of remote cabins in one of the tolls of the La Plata-Buenos Aires Highway to improve the service and conditions of its workers, in addition to streamlining transit through automatic charging.

In dialogue with 0221.com.arcompany spokespersons explained that with the implementation of the new remote booths, workers will no longer have to operate the lanes in the toll booth, but will be able to do so from a room, in front of two screens, to control the booths that have TelePASE.

“Each operator can operate up to three Telepase cabins and does so in better working conditions. At the same time, they are communicated by handy with the personnel in the cabin area”detailed from the company, about the improvements in the working conditions of the employees.

In booths with TelePASE, the operator is responsible for charging those motorists who cannot drive when the barrier is not raised. In addition, they are responsible for manually loading the license plate of the cars that are not read, either because the license plate is in poor condition or because the TelePASE is incorrectly placed.

According to reports, the daily average of vehicles that circulate on the La Plata-Buenos Aires Highway is 210,000 cars, of which 76% are adhered to the TelePASE system. The new booth system, which adds greater technology and modernization, was implemented at the Dock Sud toll.

The new system is controlled remotely by specialized personnel, and is added to the recent mixed tolls (manual and TelePASE), which already operate at the Hudson toll and at Dock Sud.
