The dispute between the Casanare Clinic and Capresoca EPS over payments for health services has escalated to new levels, with the Clinic taking legal action against the manager of Capresoca, Haison Omar Carrillo Lemus. This action occurs in response to public statements made by Carrillo, which the Clinic considers slanderous and slanderous.

In a press conference on May 6, Carrillo Lemus stated that the lawsuit presented by the Clinic amounted to 27 billion pesos, a figure that he denied, alleging that Capresoca’s true debt was $6.1 billion.

Frank Alexander Rivera Mira, legal representative of the Casanare Clinic, filed a criminal complaint with the Prosecutor’s Office against the manager of Capresoca for these statements.

Rivera Mira refutes Carrillo Lemus’ accusations and clarifies that the lawsuit presented by the Clinic amounts to 17.9 billion pesos, a figure that includes a precautionary measure of provision ordered by the First Civil Court of the Yopal Circuit, and also denies having incurred in practices irregularities in the payment of their services.

But, in addition, the Casanare Clinic expressed its rejection of the expression used by Carrillo Lemus, “taking the bait,” considering it slanderous and insulting.
