The sixth date, first of the second phase, of the NEA Regional rugby tournament, this Saturday the Corrientes teams of Aranduroga and San Patricio will play as visitors. Meanwhile, Taraguy will only appear on Sunday and will do so in the capital of Corrientes.

After a week’s break, the activity of the Top 10 of the first division resumes. With three matches, all of which will begin at 4:15 p.m., the second phase of the group stage will begin. There will be nine dates, where everyone will play against everyone, but the group standings will be maintained.

After five days, this is how the teams are positioned:

Zone A: Curne 15 points, Sixty 12, Curda 10, San Patricio 9 and Regatas Resistencia 2.

Zone B: Taraguy 18 points, Aguará 10, Aranduroga 7, San José 5 and Capri 4.

Once the phase concludes. The first in each group will advance to the semifinals, while the second and third in each group will play in the quarterfinals.

Aranduroga will travel to Formosa to face Aguará with the arbitration of Juan Zubieta.

The Corrientes team began the competition with a victory but then did not win again, including the match against Capri where, due to a general brawl, the Disciplinary Court declared the game lost to both teams.

For its part, San Patricio moved to Asunción to face San José with the arbitration of Adrián Bogado.

Rojinegro is in the process of changing its squad, it had a good start to the competition but lost in its last two presentations and will seek recovery.

For its part, San José achieved its first victory of the season on the fifth date. It was in Asunción and against Aranduroga.

The third game scheduled for this Saturday is the Chaco classic between Regatas and Curne. Maximiliano Freschi was appointed to referee the match.

The sixth date will be completed on Sunday with two games. In Corrientes, Taraguy will receive Capri (Maximiliano Busaniche) and in Asunción, Curda will play with Sixty (César Medina Benítez).
