The detainees were located while they were traveling in a white Ford Super Duty truck, with United States license plates, at kilometer 3+500 of a dirt road, in the Charcas-Los Acosta section, where they were intercepted.
Among the four captured criminals are José, 35 years old, originally from Tamaulipas; Marco, 22 years old, from Aguascalientes; Armando, 24 years old, also from Tamaulipas, and Francisco, 30 years old, from Matehuala, San Luis Potosí.
During the arrest, three long assault rifle-type firearms, 11 magazines, 203 useful cartridges and three tactical vests were seized. Subsequently, they were transferred to the Attorney General’s Office in San Luis Potosí, remaining at the disposal of the Federal Public Ministry and under investigation by federal agents.
