The Fábrica de Licores de Antioquia (FLA) has reported a notable financial performance during the first four months of the current year, reaching revenues of $45.34 billion. This figure far exceeds its previous records.

In addition to the impressive revenues, FLA has reported an EBITDA margin of 38% compared to the same period last year. The manager of the Antioquia Liquor Factory, Esteban Ramos, highlighted the hard work of the team, stating: “These results are the result of the efforts of all FLA employees.”

These financial results not only benefit the Fábrica de Licores de Antioquia, but also have a direct impact on regional development. Most of the resources generated are destined to finance key projects within the 2024-2027 Development Plan “Por Antioquia Firme”, led by Governor Andrés Julián Rendón.

Esteban Ramos emphasized the importance of these achievements, explaining: “It is crucial to highlight that the majority of these resources are destined to strengthen our Development Plan, which translates into greater investment in vital areas such as education, health, infrastructure , recreation and culture.”

The FLA’s current performance represents a significant change in its financial history. Between the years 2017 and 2023, the FLA obtained an average operating profit of $6,548 million in the first four months. The improvements implemented to reduce raw material costs have been key to achieving this new level of success.
