Within the framework of the installation of the second period of ordinary sessions of the Ibagué Council, the councilor of the Alianza Verde party, Andrés Zambrano, took advantage of his intervention to give a message of unity and dialogue between the local administration and the councilors who declare themselves in opposition .
Andrés Zambrano was forceful in stating that, as an opposition, they are there to work for the Ibaguereños, pointing out their commitment to providing other points of view that help contribute to the development of the city.
“It is not a role in a capricious way, a role that wants to put the brakes on the wheel of the progress of our territory, but it is a role that does put the brakes on the bad practices that we can evidence within the exercises and administrative procedures,” said Zambrano.
For this reason, it calls on the local administration so that their positions and arguments are taken into account, emphasizing the importance of respect and the creation of spaces for free dialogue, regardless of political position.
“Let’s hope that the debates you discuss are nutritious and enriching, that they are debates that reach results that allow us to make this a better territory,” Zambrano concluded.
