A Franco police officer thwarted an attack against him with shots and killed one of his four assailants on Avenida El Parrón with Calle Paz, in the capital commune of The Cistern.

The colonel specified that the police officer involved is not injured, that there was no exchange of shots during the procedure and that the rest of the criminals fled after the victim’s action.
“I want to highlight the action of the police and our police(and) we are going to continue in the face of these types of situations, we are going to continue acting in the same way, bravely, whether to protect our physical integrity or that of third parties,” Apablaza said.
The Public Ministry instructed the attendance of the PDI Homicide Brigade to investigate the caseso traffic on Avenida El Parrón is completely suspended from the section of Gran Avenida to Route 5 South as a result of the proceedings.
