A new queen is chosen from among 30 candidates from all over the country, minute by minute

This Sunday, June 2, one of the most important beauty pageants in Colombia will be held: Miss Universe 2024. On this occasion, 30 women from various regions of the country will compete for the crown.

This year, the contest format will present some new features. The RCN Channel will be responsible for the broadcast, allowing the audience to enjoy every moment live and direct from the Caribbean Events Center, Puerta de Oro, in Barranquilla, starting at 6 p.m.

It is worth mentioning that to select the candidates, Miss Universe Colombia made an extensive tour throughout the country and they have chosen a woman for each department, lwhich not only stand out for their beauty, but also for their academic and professional preparation.

“These candidates symbolize the diversity and talent of Colombia, and will compete in a series of events that will run from May 24 to June 2, the date on which the current Queen, Camila Avella, will hand the Crown to her successor. at the Barranquilla Convention Center,” the MUC explained in a statement.
