Unión defeated La Salle 3 to 1 this Sunday in Cabaña Leiva, in the first leg of the first phase of the Santa Fe Cup. Next weekend both teams will meet again in the revenge match, in which the Tate will be local.
In this Sunday’s duel, La Salle was able to take the lead before the quarter-hour mark of the first half, thanks to a goal from Lisbeth López. However, Unión was able to turn the story around before halftime. Emilse Albornos first, and Pilar Mateo later, were responsible for putting Tate in front on the scoreboard.
